Description
Vintage OOP partial issue of 1933 Cleveland Modelmaking News & Practical Hobbies, Vol. 1 #4, produced by Cleveland Model & Supply Co. Pages show yellowing & use (see pix) -- very fragile (it IS almost 90 years old). It does appear that the foldout full-size foldout plans were removed, (those are likely some of the same ones I've been selling separately) so not everything on the TOC is here. But still plenty of nice content:pictures of readers' models
1/8" scale plans for a timber highway bridge
1/8" scale plans for a 1931 Focke-Wulf "Ente" high-wing monoplane (see image: this is NOT the oddball Focke-Wulf experimental F-19 "Ente" but a different plane)
1/8" scale plans for 1930 Douglas M-2 mail plane & 1931 Berliner-Joyce Y1P-16 biplane
1/32" scale plans for the ship "Pinta" of Columbus' fleet

Pet Ideas & Suggestions
W/the 1/8" plans probably you'd carve & shape the fuselage & wings out of wood rather than building a framework as for a larger-scale plane. WYSIWYG. Will be listing more vintage model plans & CM&S magazines from this old trove, so keep checking back.
Please read all terms carefully
. Will combine shipping to buyer's advantage whenever possible; you will never pay more than actual USPS cost.
****PLEASE READ: FOR MULTIPLE WINS, PLEASE WAIT
FOR ME TO ISSUE AN INVOICE BEFORE PAYING BECAUSE EBAY AUTOMATICALLY GENERATES ONE AND DOES NOT TAKE INTO ACCOUNT ANY COMBINED SHIPPING DISCOUNTS THAT MAY BE DUE TO YOU. IF YOU RECEIVE AN INVOICE THAT SHOULD HAVE A DISCOUNT BUT DOES NOT, IT CAME FROM EBAY, NOT ME.
If bidding on/buying multiple items, you can combine all items won w/in a 5-day period. Please let me know when you are done & we'll tally your wins to determine ship cost. Payment expected w/in THREE DAYS of your last auction win closing. Sorry, NO international bidders, please. (And
NO
U.S. proxies for overseas bidders either, please!) Will ship asap after payment.
I try to describe everything as accurately as I can, but if you have any questions please feel free to ask. (Questions very close to auction end may not get a reply in time.)
NOTE:
Due to experiences over the years w/a handful of abusive buyers who have threatened negative feedback unless they get full or partial refunds for nonexistent faults, or who left neutral or negative feedback because they didn't read the description (claiming things like they "thought it was bigger" when the length of an item was clearly stated), I've altered my practices to only give feedback once I've received positive feedback indicating your satisfactio0n w/your purchase.
Thanks for looking - more to come.
